RVibrake Dims Thin and light design

RVibrake2 is the smallest and easiest to use auxiliary braking system on the market. Unlike other portable braking systems, RVibrake2's housing pushes against the floor pan (the rise in the floor where the driver’s seat is mounted) in the tow vehicle instead of the soft seat when activating. This allowed RVibrake2 to be designed as small as possible making RVibrake2 easy to install and easy to stow. (15% thinner than RVibrake)

RVibrake2 Auto PositionOne-Touch Auto Positioning

This is truly one of a kind technology. Push the green Auto Position button on RVibrake2’s control panel and watch RVibrake2’s actuator push on the brake pedal, positioning the housing against the seat pan automatically. RVibrake2’s One-Touch Auto Positioning technology allows for a perfect install every time, no guessing if RVibrake2 was installed properly!

RF Signal Boost
RVibrake2's new RF Signal Boost software now gives you greater RF communication. RF is restricted by the FCC
Tire Pressure Sensors
RVibrake Tire Pressure Sensors are the easiest to use tire pressure sensors available. Simply enable the sensors on RVibrake2's Wireless Monitor, thread them onto the towed vehicle's tire stems, and you’re ready to go! (sensors sold separately)
Battery Protection
Built upon RVibrake's 1.0 software battery monitoring, RVibrake2 monitors your towed vehicle's battery voltage output as well as RVibrake2's draw on the towed vehicle's battery.

RVibrake2 installedTruly Proportional
RVibrake is the only portable braking system that is truly proportional, because it pushes against the solid floorpan an not the seat cushion. The harder you brake in the motorhome the harder RVibrake2 pushes on the brake pedal of your towed vehicle. RVibrake2's proportional technology provides smooth operation in moderate braking, or panic braking situations

RVi2 Wireless Monitor in coachWireless Monitor
The Wireless Monitor will allow you to make adjustments to RVibrake2's settings while traveling, as well as monitor performance.

Features include:
• Bar graph display of when the towed vehicle is braking
• Manual Brake Test activation
• Towed Vehicle low battery indication
• Audible Break-Away alert
• Tire Pressures (When enabled)

First Impressions April 26, 2015

My first impressions are excellent.  The system which includes tire pressure monitoring, has been installed and road tested over a short course.  Tomorrow I set off for a trip to Baton Rouge which will be the systems first use for long distance.  RVibrake2 installed as presented in the written directions, and in the video.  No surprises.  I am also impressed with the post-purchase email communication provided by the company.

RVI2 Brake with charger and TPMS April 10, 2015

This system is easy to install.  It works well.  I just finished a 2K mile trip from Wa. state to Death Valley CA.  Did many hills and stopped a couple times going on 6% grades and stopped part way down to check brake temps.  Found MH brakes hot and 2012 Jeep (toad) were cold. Had settings at small SUV / Hi sense.  Changed to large SUV med. sense.  Did a repeat of this and found brakes on toad slightly warm so upped sense to Hi.  I am not sure how well this works on gradual down hill braking so can't give good feedback on that.  The test brake function from remote works.  I noticed it test brakes longer with large SUV vrs small SUV.

The battery charger works well.

The TPMS system worked well on the way down but after 3 attempts to get it to work on the way back it just would not connect.  I think this system may need a little more R&D.

I had a question about the installation, made a phone call and problem solved.  Customer service was excellent.  I have only used this one time but it installed easily and worked as predicted.

RVibrake2 and Customer service March 27, 2015
Reviewer: Greg C from Southern Ca.
Before I purchased this system I spent a great deal of time talking with SAM in their Tech support group We determined that the best choice for the remote was the cable/extension plug option vs the direct plug from the back of the remote display. Additionally, Sam and I exchange snapshots of my floorboards of my 1993 Jeep Grand Ch. which has a hump right where the RV2 would need to  lay flat (it needed something to move the RV2 forward a couple of inches so it could lay flat). Sam and his team were great and made up a special floor mount bar based on the pictures and my measurements that attached  to the seat mounting bolts to create a stop plate beyond the hump to solve the problem at no charge!
I cannot say enough how helpful Sam was and how great the system works! No problems. and I love the fact that is shows a real time graft bar display when the brakes are being applied to the soft or hardest of the braking. I am thinking about buying the tire pressure sensors next.
